Skillet - Monster

Ellos son Skillet y esto es "Monster".

The secret side of me, I never let you see
I keep it caged but I can't control it
So stay away from me, the beast is ugly
I feel the rage and I just can't hold it

It's scratching on the walls, in the closet, in the halls
It comes awake and I can't control it
Hiding under the bed, in my body, in my head
Why won't somebody come and save me from this, make it end?

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I hate what I've become, the nightmare's just begun
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster

My secret side I keep hid under lock and key
I keep it caged but I can't control it
'Cause if I let him out he'll tear me up, break me down
Why won't somebody come and save me from this, make it end?

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I hate what I've become, the nightmare's just begun
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster

It's hiding in the dark, it's teeth are razor sharp
There's no escape for me, it wants my soul, it wants my heart
No one can hear me scream, maybe it's just a dream
Maybe it's inside of me, stop this monster

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I hate what I've become, the nightmare's just begun
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I've gotta lose control, he something radical
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster

Patrick Stump on R&B

Patrick Stump, ex-vocalist of Fall Out Boy, in a recent interview talks about his upcoming album, and we can read this:

How would you characterize your solo record?

It’s really hard to describe. It’s easier to say what it’s not. It’s definitely not a rock record. It has some elements of … my dad was a folk singer, and so I think there’s always gonna be an inherent folkiness to the lyrics, not necessarily in any other way. There’s a lot of R&B, there’s a lot of funkiness to it. I would definitely characterize it as at least some kind of outsider folk music.

Looks like Patrick is changing styles, and didn't fit into the 'rock guy' stereotype. You can read the whole interview here

Shake shake shake on the floor
Take take take take me lower
Loud loud loud beating rhythm
Hush Hush Hush keep it secret

We'll be a dream - We the Kings con Demi Lovato (Video)

Do you remember the nights
We'd stay up just laughing
Smiling for hours
At anything
Remember the nights
We drove around crazy in love

When the lights go out
We'll be safe and sound
We'll take control of the world
Like it's all we have to hold on to
And we'll be a dream

Do you remember the nights
We made our way dreaming
Hoping of being
Someone big
We were so young then
We were too crazy
In love

When the lights go out
We'll be safe and sound
We'll take control of the world
Like it's all we have to hold on to
And we'll be a dream

Whoa whoa
Whoa whoa
Whoa whoa

When the lights go out
We'll be safe and sound
We'll take control of the world
Like it's all we have to hold on to
And we'll be

At the disco o McFly, y servían como lanzadera a otros nacionales, más o menos conocidos, como No Way Out o Ochoaeme.

At the disco, Fall Out Boy, McFly, Billy Talent, o el inolvidable gran concierto que reunió a la ídolo de medios Katy Perry con Metro Station y You Me At Six.

B.o.B. ft. Hayley Williams & Eminem - Airplanes 2

Éste es B.o.B con Hayley Williams y Eminem en "Airplanes 2".

Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now

Dreamin’, I’m fallin,
Dreamin’, I’m fallin

Let's pretend like it's 98, like I’m eating lunch off of Styrofoam treys
Trying to be the next rapper coming out the A
Hoping for a record deal, to re-know my pain
Now let's pretend like I’m on the stage
And when my beat drops everybody goes insane (Ok)
And everybody know my name (B.o.B)
And everywhere I go people wanna hear me sang
Oh yea and I just dropped my new album
On the first week I did 500 thousand
Gold in the spring and diamond in the fall
And then a world tour just to top it all off
And let's pretend like they call me the greatest
Selling out arenas with big ass stages
And everybody loved me and no one ever hated
Let's try to use imagination

Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now

Ok, let’s pretend like this never happened
Like I never had dreams of being a rapper
Like I didn’t write raps in all of my classes
Like I never used to runaway into the blackness
Now let's pretend like it was all-good
Like I didn’t live starring in a notebook
Like I did the things I probably knew I should
But I didn’t have neighbours that’s why they call it hood
Now let's pretend like I aint got a name
Before they ever called me B.o.B or a.k.a Bobby Ray
I’m talking back before the mixtapes
Before the videos and the deals and the fame
Before they ever once compared me to Andre
Before I ever got Myspace
Before they ever noticed my face
So let’s just pretend and make wishes out of airplanes

Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now

And it seems like yesterday it was just a dream, just memories

Let’s Pretend Marshall Mathers never picked up a pen
Let’s pretend things would’ve been no different
Pretend people procrastinated had no motivation
Pretend he just made excuses that was so paper thin they could blow away wit the wind
Marshall you never gone make it, makes no sense to play the game it ain’t no way that’ll you win
Pretend he just stands outside all day and play with his friends
Pretend he even had a friend to say was his friend
And it wasn’t time to move in school no changing again
He wasn’t socially awakard and just strange as a kid
He had a father and his mother wasn’t crazy as shit
And he never dreamed he can ripped stadiums he just lazy as shit
Fuck a talent show in the gymnasium bitch
You won’t amount to shit quit day dreaming kid
You need to get ya cranium check you thinking like an alien
It just ain’t realistic
Now pretend they ain’t just make him angry with this shit
And there was no one he could even aim when he’s pissed with
And his alarm went off to wake him but he did’nt make it to the rap Olympics
Left to his plane and he missed it
He’s gonna have a hard time explaining to Haley and Laney these food stamps and WIC shit
Cause he never risked shit he hoped and he wished it
But it didn’t fall in his lap so he ain’t even hear it he pretends that

Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now

Butch Walker - Pretty Melody

Do you remember when we met?
Liquor drinks and cigarettes
All the boys were taking bets
Credit cards, so in debt

Bought drinks from you at the bar
Poured them out behind my car
So I could come back where you are
And order from you again and again

I'll be your open tap
You'll be my favorite sin

You're such a pretty melody
I'm just a tattooed tragedy
Oh baby we don't have to be
Like the rest of them

What time can we get out of here?
I got some words you need to hear
I really wanna make it clear
I don't do this everywhere

How do I make this not sound cheap?
I wanna show you where I sleep
Keep you there a couple weeks
Make you come again and again

I'll be your waste of time
You'll be my happy end

You're such a pretty melody
I'm just another tattooed tragedy
Oh baby we don't have to be
Like the rest of them

It's anything but hard to see
I want all of you all over me
There's not a single part of me
That won't ever let you

You're such a pretty melody
I'm just another tattooed tragedy
Oh baby we don't have to be
Like the rest of them

It's anything but hard to see
I want all of you all over me
There's not a single part of me
That won't ever let you go

Tokio Hotel in Spain (Report)

Tokio Hotel, the famous German band visited our country on Monday and Tuesday, in two shows in Madrid and Bacerlona. Press coverage was massive and, for days, it has been broadcast on the most important TV news programs of the country how many fans waited in days since more than two weeks ago. With this ambient, the effervescence was expected the hours before the show. The police along with the reporters who stole the last declarations and the impatient shouts everywhere. The gates to the stadium seemed never to open.

But they did, and an avalanche of teenagers, parents, boys and girls flooded the arena at seven thirty pm. It will be a hour and a half later when the lights turned off and in the stage started to showed, while the Intro song of this Humanoid City Tour began to sound. A big metallic ball, in wich Bill Kaulitz rose with the bizarre look chosen for this tour. A platform above the stage hosted drummer Gustav Schäefer. At both sides, two stairs for bassist Georg Listing and guitarist Tom Kaulitz to move along. It began then a daring bet of aesthetics and sound that some voices point as a lure to their last album, Humanoid.

And this is it. Tour comes as a desperate try to save an album with sales (in three editions) have not got the acceptation that their others record have. So, the tracklist is based on Humanoid's songs, sliding far of their roots, except for Moonson, Break Away and Ready, Set, Go!. However, the audition was good, and really involved in the show. When Monsoon's chorus broke into the song Screamin', the whole arena shook. It is also remarkable the moment when Bill appeared in stage with a huge motorcycle or when they played a piano in flames in the song Zoom Into Me.

We can say they have won the bet. It is not easy to say if the audience were happy for the music or the spectacle, or maybe for the inevitable combination of both. Anyway, the absence of the roots that made them stand where they are now was notable. Songs such as An deiner Seite (Ich bin da) or Schrei were missed really bad by fans that supported the band since the very beginning.

To the unconditional fans, it was a perfect show. To the ones who went for the spectacle, it was entertained. To the ones who went for the music, it was disappointing.

Artist Vs. Poet - Runaway

Ellos son Artist Vs Poet y su "Runaway"

Why do you tell yourself that you were happy when your not
Why don't you lie to us both if it
Makes you feel better off
Honestly oh honestly this will never be
Don't blame yourself
Oh honestly

Why don't we runaway
We can leave our problems at the door
Why can't we runaway
We'll turn our back and we'll say goodnight
As those dotted lines move faster we'll watch the night turn into day
So why don't we runaway

So open your eyes
And shut those ears it's a give and take cause you can't please everyone
When it feels like the world has turned their back and locked their doors this is feeling impossible
Honestly oh honestly this will never be
Don't blame yourself
Oh honestly

Why don't we runaway
We can leave our problems at the door
Why can't we runaway
We'll turn our back and we'll say goodnight
As those dotted lines move faster we'll watch the night turn into day
So why don't we runaway

We've come to grips with all this shit
So what's the point in trying to fix it
We'll tell um' this is how it is
Cause it was never their life to live
Honestly oh honestly this will never be
Don't blame yourself
Oh honestly

Why don't we runaway
We can leave our problems at the door
Why can't we runaway
We'll turn our back and we'll say goodnight
As those dotted lines move faster we'll watch the night turn into day
So why don't we runaway
